Teaching Abroad

Teaching in China was a great professional experience! In the Summer of 2019, I co-taught a course in Educational Research to 104 English Language Learners in Henan, China. We used WeChat, a mobile messaging app, as an educational management system to upload powerpoints, deliver handouts and communicate across languages. Students, with no experience in qualitative or quantitative research, generated research papers in two weeks. I was honored to participate in this experience.
